Delivery Information


Delivery costs £3.90 per order, regardless of how many items you order. We do not charge VAT on top of this cost.

 

Packages are sent by Royal Mail First Class for delivery the following day. Some packages (usually larger orders) may require a signature.

 

We aim to despatch your order within 1 working day from the time of ordering

All payments must be received and authorised before shipment.



Return / Refund Policy


If you wish to cancel within 7 days of receipt you must do so by email to customerservices@shortcouture.com. We will refund the cost of the goods and the cost of standard postage.

 

After 7 days should you wish to return an item we will be happy to exchange it or refund within 14 days of delivery. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if the item(s) are returned in a non-saleable condition, have been worn or are soiled or damaged.

 

If the product returned is not in fully resaleable condition, we do reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Refunds can only be made to the original card of purchase. Refunds to a card other than the original can only be processed when:

- The original account no longer exists OR

- The original account details have expired

 

If you have contacted us to cancel your order before you have received your goods, it may not be possible to stop delivery of your order. Please return the order to us by post, in the meantime you must take reasonable care of the items. You must pay the cost of the return postage.

You must take good care of the items whilst they are in your possession. For your own protection, we recommend that you request proof of posting when returning the item, or you may wish to select a delivery method that insures you for the value of goods that you are returning. We cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit.

 

If you receive faulty or damaged items please inform us within 7 days so that we can arrange replacements.

 

Further details of your rights under Distance Selling Regulations are available from your local Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.

 

Cancellation

If you as the purchaser notify us in writing (email is fine) of your wish to return an item within 7 working days of receiving it, we’ll refund you for both the purchase price and the standard delivery charge. Please make sure you take reasonable care of the item while it is in your possession, and that it is returned to us in an unused and resaleable condition. You must pay the cost of return postage.

 

If only part of your order is cancelled, the delivery charge will not be refunded.

 

To cancel your order you can email us at customerservices@shortcouture.com. If you have contacted us to cancel before delivery of your goods, though your order will have been cancelled, it may not be possible to prevent your order from being delivered. Please return the cancelled order to us by post, in the meantime you must take reasonable care of all items. You must pay the cost of the return postage.

Security

Ordering Online with us is safe and secure. When you go to the Checkout you will see the padlock symbol.

 

Shopping is safe with us because all your card details are sent using encrypted software. This means in the unlikely event that someone is able to obtain this information they won’t be able to read it so will not be able to get your card details. The card details are encrypted on your PC through the SagePay page and they can only be read by the SagePay computers.

 

We don’t hold or keep any credit/debit card details, all payments are securely processed by SagePay, one of the largest and most secure payment sites.

 

Privacy

 

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our site visitors and customers. We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties except where it is part of providing a service to you - e.g. arranging for delivery of your product to you, carrying out credit and other security checks, or where we have your express permission to do so.

 

We comply with the Data Protection Act and are registered with the Information Commissioners Office. We will not sell your name, address, email address, credit card information or personal information to any third party without your permission.
